As a biologist and museum scientist, I enjoy extracting highlights from the chaos of museum drawers and the unruliness of the wilderness into pen and ink drawings. These small pieces bring into focus biodiversity that we have become alienated from as modern folk, from wayside orchids to recently extinct freshwater clams.
